ZOMX910C Another great Marx Fort Apache playset from the 1950's! We are selling off a Huge collection of vintage Marx western items and this is our second of this HTF #3614 stockade sets.
The #3614 was a very important turning point for Marx in 1954. The figures were changed to the soft plastic instead of the vinyl which was a great improvement in detail and the ability to more easily stand them up. furthermore they revised ( sculpted ) some of them turning them in a much more realistic figures. This set is also know for the vibrant and unique colors that were introduced. Especially the yellow figures were unique to only this set!
The set is in very good condition and about 85% complete, stockade is nice complete except only three ladders instead of 4, tin cabin nice and clean was previously assembled and then taken apart to fit back in the box.Figures are all there and in beautiful colors, 28 Indians and 6 lonely frontiersmen/woman a couple flaws ( 1 arrow missing and 1 parted bowstring). Nice buckboard, complete and excellent set of accessories, nice tepee with top, flag and pole. Missing the cannon and the dead tree with 2 rocks.
Box in good firm condition has some white spray paint overspray mostly on the back side of box and there is no inner divider.Does have the original instruction sheet! original instructions
